Brooke Burke was born on September 8th, 1971, in Hartford, Connecticut, USA, but raised in Tucson, Arizona. Her exotic, original looks can be attributed to her family’s heritage, which blends her French/Irish father with her Portuguese/Irish mother.
Brooke Burke started as a model for Venus Swimwear and Frederick’s of Hollywood. From 1999-2002, Burke became well-known while hosting Wild On!, a popular travel series on the E! Entertainment Television channel, replacing previous host Jules Asner. As part of the series, she travelled the world extensively, profiling many popular travel destinations. She has also appeared in lad mags such as Maxim, Stuff, and FHM. Maxim magazine named her #94 in their 2006 Hot 100 List and featured her on their gallery. She has voiced “Rachel” in Electronic Arts’ video game Need for Speed: Underground 2, and asks the “People and Places” questions in the video game, Trivial Pursuit Unhinged.
Brooke Burke Personal Life
In July of 2005, Burke Burke and her husband, Dr. Garth Fisher, announced their separation. The couple had been married since 2001 and they have two daughters, Neriah (born March 2000, and named after her friend and former Playmate Neriah Davis), and Sierra Sky (born April 2002).
Soon after Brooke Burke and her husband separated, the model began dating French-born actor David Charvet. On the September 6, 2006 episode of Rockstar: Supernova, she revealed that she was expecting her third child, a girl. On August 21, 2006 People Magazine reported that Brooke and David are engaged with Charvet having proposed to Burke at a summer party. On January 8, 2007, she gave birth to a baby girl named, Heaven Rain Charvet. At age 36, she gave birth to her 4th child, a son named Shaya Braven (born March 5, 2008). Despite announcing a 2006 engagement, as of 2010 they have not married.
